Tony Levinさんの写真集♪
Mr.Tony's Photo book♪
2021年、ミュージシャンのTony Levinさんの写真集が発売されました。
この写真集には、およそ80名に及ぶ著名なミュージシャンたちとの音楽の旅を記録した素晴らしい写真が沢山収められています。
本の冒頭にTonyさん自身がマスクを着けた撮った写真があるのですが…このマスクは私の作品なんです！
ユウガオの実（干瓢の原料、ふくべとも呼びます）で制作しまして、個展で発表した後にTLC-japanの会長ご夫妻に送らせていただいたところ、2018年のKing Crimsonの金沢公演の際にTonyさんご本人に渡してくださいました。
Tonyさんはその後のツアーでも、このお面を小道具に様々な写真を撮っていました♪
写真集をいただき、ページを開いた時には涙が出るほど感動しました。そして今も変わらずに嬉しいです。
機会を与えて下さった皆様に感謝です。
In 2021, musician Tony Levin's photo book was released.
The book contains a lot of great photos documenting his musical journey with about 80 famous musicians.
There is a photo at the beginning of the book taken by Tony himself wearing a mask... this mask is my art work!
I made it out of yugao nuts (also called fukube, a material used to make dried gourds), and after I showed it at my solo exhibition, I sent it to the chairmen of TLC-japan, and they gave it to
Tony himself at the Kanazawa concert of King Crimson in 2018.
Tony used this mask as a prop to take various photos on his subsequent tours.
I was moved to tears when I received the photo book and opened the pages, and I am still as happy as ever.
I would like to thank everyone who gave me this opportunity.
